About the Role

We are looking for a Front-end Software Engineer to help design and build modern, scalable user interfaces for Workday products. You will work with a global team, use modern JavaScript frameworks (with a strong focus on Vue.js), and have opportunities to contribute to AI-powered features.

Responsibilities:

- Design and build modern front-end experiences

  • Implement clean, reusable front-end components from UI/UX designs.

  • Ensure responsive, accessible, high-performance experiences across browsers and devices.

  • Develop, maintain, and improve Vue.js components and integrations with third-party services/SDKs.

- Collaborate and deliver high-quality software

  • Work closely with engineering in Vietnam and product teams in the U.S. to refine requirements and plan technical tasks.

  • Propose solutions, estimate effort, and own features end-to-end from design to deployment.

  • Participate in code reviews, share best practices, and continuously improve code quality, UX, and performance.

- Contribute to product innovation (including AI features)

  • Integrate backend and optional AI-related APIs into intuitive, reliable front-end experiences.

  • Collaborate with backend and AI engineers to refine contracts, handle edge cases, and ensure smooth end-to-end flows.

  • Suggest UX and workflow improvements based on user feedback and data to help shape innovative features.

About You

Basic Qualification

  • 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Other Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in TypeScript and at least one modern JavaScript framework, such as Vue.js (highly preferred), React.js, or Angular.

  • Solid understanding of front-end architecture, component-based design, and state management patterns.

  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON-based data structures.

  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with AI concepts or tools.

  • Basic understanding of DevOps concepts (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging).

  • Hands-on experience with source control management tools (e.g., Git), including branching, pull request workflows, and resolving merge conflicts in a collaborative codebase.

  • Strong logical thinking, high sense of ownership and responsibility, and a proactive, open-minded, and learning-oriented mindset.

  • A collaborative teammate with clear communication skills, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

  • Good verbal and written English communication skills.
