Job Description
Amazon Catalog Services builds the systems that host and run the world’s largest e-Commerce catalog. Within this organization, Product Knowledge (PK) is responsible for mining, modeling, storing and vending the product catalog metadata. This metadata (schema) governs all the possible product information and powers Amazon end-to-end processes, starting on how we organize products, how we define all possible product attributes, how we guide selling partners when listing them, all the way to power customer shopping experiences (e.g., product overview in detail pages, browse taxonomy, search and navigation filters). If you've ever shopped on Amazon, you interacted with our product.
We are building new services to scale creation of metadata using Generative AI, building comprehensive Product Knowledge and making faster decisions comparable to humans by leveraging LLMs and GenAI Agents with high precision. We are hiring a Software Development Manager (SDM) for this charter in New York.

As the leader of the Schema Generation services you will monitor and provide direct visibility to senior stakeholders, establish partnerships, collaborate with peer teams and prioritize initiatives that impact our businesses.
