Job Description

We are Datadog's in-house product experts. The Technical Solutions team enables Datadog's worldwide growth by educating potential clients and ensuring that existing customers are happy and successful. We share our technical and product expertise with customers via multi-channel technical support, demos, and presentations. You’ll be joining a team and company where you will be challenged, but also will immediately witness your contributions to Datadog.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coach, mentor, and grow a team of technical support engineers, fostering both technical expertise and behavioral excellence;
  • Lead by example — demonstrate technical leadership, empathy, and accountability;
  • Establish clear career development plans, facilitate learning paths, develop technical strengths and weaknesses, while creating a culture of continuous improvement and curiosity;
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, technical and performance reviews, and promote a healthy, inclusive, and collaborative environment;
  • Drive technical enablement programs to strengthen the team’s knowledge in cloud infrastructure, containers, automation, and monitoring technologies;
  • Standardize and optimize support best practices — including escalation processes, incident management.

 

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical support, SAAS, site reliability, or cloud operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role;
  • Solid understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and experience with Unix/Linux systems;
  • Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, autoscaling architectures);
  • Knowledge of infrastructure, networking fundamentals, databases, and monitoring/observability tools;
  • Understanding of at least one programing/scripting language (Python, Bash, or similar);
  • Familiarity with data analytics and the ability to extract insights to drive performance and customer outcomes.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Portuguese and English
