Role Description:
Our team is seeking a senior silicon test and validation engineer to join our team to reshape the future of crypto currency. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our ASIC mining products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in ASIC and hardware testing, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Develop and execute automation test scripts to assess the functionality, performance, and reliability of ASIC mining products. Write simple scripts or embedded programs to facilitate testing procedures.
Utilize electronic measurement equipment to perform accurate and precise tests. Create and execute test cases for ASIC characterization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the ASIC team, electrical engineering team, software engineering team, and application engineering team to validate and verify our latest ASIC products.
- Develop and execute automation test scripts to assess the functionality, performance, and reliability of ASIC mining products.
- Write simple embedded programs on evaluation boards to facilitate testing procedures.
- Utilize electronic measurement equipment to perform accurate and precise tests.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in ASIC validation and characterization
- Proven experience in ASIC and hardware testing, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Proficiency in creating automation test scripts to streamline testing processes. (ie. Python)
- Experience with FPGA prototypes and familiarity with ASIC testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with electronic measurement equipment and its application in testing.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Bitcoin mining
- Experience using Python (or similar scripting languages) in automated testing, build systems, or device firmware communication
- Embedded programming experience C
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
