WHAT YOU'LL DO
At Braze, Solutions Consultants blend the art of storytelling and sales with the science behind how our technology tactically delivers value for our customers. During the sales process, we help make it real, with the aim of building prospective customer confidence in Braze's capabilities & team.
Braze is looking to hire a seasoned Solutions Consultant to join our Global Strategic Accounts (GSA) team, based in Seattle. The role will encompass working with several high-profile, in-region global accounts, expanding our footprint within these, while also expanding into net new strategic accounts. While the role maintains a pre-sales focus, you'll be balancing expansion opportunities with retention initiatives. This environment offers the opportunity to work with sophisticated, independent business units within large parent organizations, providing both technical depth and strategic business impact.
Braze Solutions Consultants are trusted advisors to both customers and internal team members, bringing extensive product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices to bear. We strive to lay strong foundations, beginning pre-sales, for long-term partnership between Braze and our customers.
This role is an opportunity to expand on your thought leadership skills, while partnering with Braze’s sales, marketing, security, and product teams. The role will draw upon your experience in Pre-sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, and Customer Success, along with a high level of curiosity about all things tech. You will serve as a mentor to Solutions Consultants on your team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in solution consulting, sales engineering or pre-sales solution architecture, with at least 8 years of professional experience selling SaaS solutions to large enterprise clients. Additionally, we’re looking for candidates with existing technical relationships within some of the region's extensive Fortune 100 companies. While you do not need to have a background as a developer, this role involves working with some of our most technically demanding clients, and you need to be the type who loves rolling up their sleeves and getting under the hood.
The role requires access to the Seattle market and will also include out of region travel, at most 30% at peak times.
