Robinhood is looking for a skilled Senior Corporate Accountant to join our rapidly growing Accounting team. We are seeking driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities – a self-starter who can work independently but who is also a good team-player. This individual will need to be able to pick things up quickly and be able to meet deadlines with multiple tasks.
As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will support core accounting operations while helping build and perform reconciliation processes for new and existing products, including crypto-native offerings. You will play a hands-on role in the monthly close, financial analysis, audit support, and accounting research while partnering with other teams to improve processes and data flow!
This role is based in our New York, NY office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do
- Build and perform crypto-native reconciliation processes for new products using data sourced from internal ledgers
- Prepare and maintain monthly account reconciliations
- Analyze and explain monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and variances
- Assist with compiling year-end external audit requests
- Research important accounting issues and apply best practices in accordance with accounting standards
- Assist with ad hoc research, cleanup, and reporting projects
- Work with various departments to streamline data flow and accounting processes
- Assist with system automation projects as needed
What you bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3–5 years of total experience, preferably combined across public accounting and industry
- An understanding of GAAP standards
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experience with process improvement and proficiency with spreadsheets
- Experience using SQL
- Hands-on experience in the financial close process (preferred)
