Role 

We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our Solutions Consulting (Public Sector) department, reporting to the Sales Engineering Manager. This is a remote role for candidates based within commuting distance of London, the South East, or the Midlands. We're looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Public Sector Solutions Consulting team in the UK to drive mission-critical cloud security outcomes. Based within commuting distance of London, UK, you will work in a remote environment to lead the technical charge in protecting public sector infrastructure.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

  • Present and whiteboard the Zscaler cloud security platform to prospective customers to demonstrate clear architectural value
  • Set the vision and translate complex goals into enticing, relevant recommendations that resonate with public sector stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our clients, guiding them through every stage of their digital transformational journey
  • Gather technical requirements and promote the value proposition through impactful POVs, presentations, and demonstrations with prospects and customers

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • At least 8 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Systems Integrator, or Senior Architect within a public sector organization
  • Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise network or cloud security technologies
  • Proven experience working directly within the Public Sector or supporting Public Sector customers
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver technical whiteboards, produce high-quality presentations, and conduct live demonstrations
  • Experience partnering with sales teams to identify, qualify, and scope opportunities while delivering proof of concept engagements to achieve technical victories

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Cloud Platform certifications or industry-standard credentials such as CISSP or CCNP
