You’ll oversee and improve end-to-end indirect tax processes, from preparing and reviewing value added tax (VAT) returns and reconciliations to managing monthly accruals and settlements, so that internal stakeholders can rely on accurate, timely tax data to make decisions. Reporting to the Multinational Tax Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with accounting, finance, legal, and operations, as well as external tax service providers and advisors, to interpret global indirect tax regulations, respond to legislative changes, and strengthen our control environment, including documenting and maintaining SOX control processes. In your first year, you’ll focus on driving compliance, implementing process improvements and automation, and contributing indirect tax expertise to cross-functional projects like system changes, product launches, and financial reporting.
What You’ll Do

- Maintain and review quarterly reconciliations of indirect tax general ledger accounts to ensure alignment between tax records and financial statements.
- Collaborate with external tax service providers and advisors to validate tax calculations, filings, and positions in line with local tax laws.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across accounting, legal, operations, and finance to support business decisions and special projects.
- Identify, develop, and implement indirect tax process improvements with a focus on controls, automation, efficiency, and analytics.
- Research, interpret, and document indirect tax regulations and legislative changes globally, assessing business impact and updating processes and SOX control documentation as needed.

- Practical experience with global indirect tax compliance, including preparation, review, and filing of VAT and other indirect tax returns.
- Ability to perform indirect tax account reconciliations, including monthly accruals and quarterly general ledger account reconciliations.
