About the Opportunity

As Deputy General Counsel for Global Employment, you will serve as the company’s senior leader for employment law worldwide, reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer based in Los Angeles. You will partner closely with the U.S. Legal team and senior business leaders across OKX, particularly HR, Finance, and Recruiting, to provide strategic counsel on all employment, HR, and workforce matters globally. This role owns the development and scaling of OKX’s global employment legal infrastructure and leads a distributed team of employment attorneys supporting a fast-growing, international business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Seasoned lawyer in managing and handling all legal HR, employment, and recruiting matters for the company and its global affiliated entities.
  • Expert in providing legal advice for our HR, finance and recruiting departments for all global employment matters affecting the company.
  • Key legal advisor on executive and incentive compensation, complex equity, bonus, and long-term incentive structures across jurisdictions, along with employee retention, immigration matters, and payroll.
  • Lead and develop a globally distributed team of employment attorneys.
  • Build and scale a global employment legal infrastructure that supports a rapidly growing organization.
  • Strategically select, retain, and oversee outside employment counsel, leveraging strong professional networks to ensure the right expertise is engaged for complex or specialized matters.
