About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Creative Producer (Photo, Video) to join our Global Brand Experience team—the integrated creative, experiential, events, and storytelling studio for Gap Inc. This role is for a seasoned, autonomous leader who blends strategic creative planning and hands-on production expertise. You will be instrumental in shaping content—balancing speed, creativity, and precision across platforms in a nimble, social-first, and comms-driven environment. You are a "maker-producer" who thrives in a fast-moving landscape. You will partner closely with Creative Leadership to concept, plan, and execute content that ranges from high-touch, large-scale campaigns to lean, fast-turn shoots and edits. We value a "what if" perspective and a deep passion for elevating creative in all that we do.
What You'll Do
- End-to-End Production Ownership: Lead photo and video production across social-first assets, sizzles, comms assets, docu-style storytelling, and large-scale campaigns.
- Strategic Roadmap & Briefing: Own the production lifecycle, including master calendars, complex timelines, and high-velocity post-production workflows. Drive the process by enforcing the Creative Brief, partnering with stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment before execution begins.
- Financial Stewardship: Forecast and manage the annual production budget, tracking spend with rigorous discipline and optimizing resources without compromising the creative standard.
- High-Velocity Execution: Own the "fast-turn" edit and post-production flow. You are responsible for delivering polished video content for social, internal comms, and live events on tight deadlines with a network of editors.
- Resource & Talent Architecture: Source, hire, and manage a trusted network of external partners, freelance crews, and talent; negotiate rates, usage rights, and contracts with precision.
- On-Set Leadership: Serve as lead producer on-set, ensuring an efficient, creatively aligned, and well-run environment. Partner deeply with Creative and Styling teams to execute shoots seamlessly.
- Asset Management, Sound and Music: Track and manage image usage and rights. Establish and manage comprehensive sound and music libraries to elevate the impact of
our visual work and influence standardized ways of working across other teams. - Operational Excellence: Drive improvements across workflows and systems. You bring clarity to process and move forward with confidence even in high ambiguity.
Who You Are
- The "Maker" Hybrid: You are a seasoned practitioner with 5–8+ years of experience across both photo and video. You are comfortable behind a camera or in an edit suite as well as in a production meeting with crews and multiple stakeholders.
- Autonomous Leader: You are a proactive, solutions-oriented leader. You don’t just follow a workflow; you architect it.
- Enforcer of Clarity: You understand the power of a strong brief and can onboard stakeholders to a creative brief process. You are skilled at driving stakeholders to define their vision early and can independently manage the needed clarity between the stakeholder and the creative team.
- Creative Strategist: You possess strong creative taste and insights into best-performing content. You take strong direction but also offer up innovative, bold ideas.
- Champion of Quality: You are deeply passionate about storytelling and doing what’s right for the brand, ensuring every deliverable elevates our collective work.
Preferred Attributes
- 2–3+ years of people management experience, fostering a high-performing team environment.
- Post-Production Expertise: Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on high-velocity video editing and color grading.
- Future-Forward: Knowledge and expertise around emerging tools, including the integration of AI within production and post-production.
- Executive Presence: Ability to partner with C-suite executives and high-profile talent with leadership, composure and clarity
- Bi-Coastal Pulse: Strong connections within the industry talent and vendor landscapes in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York.
