CORE SKILLS & EXPERTISE

1.SAP IBP modules: Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP

2.IP configuration: planning areas, key figures, heuristics, optimizers

3.Integration: CI-DS, RTI, CIF, CPI-DS for IBP ↔ S/4HANA data flows

4.S/4HANA: MRP, master data, process synchronization

8.Fiori launchpad & embedded analytics for planners: KPI cards, analytical lists, variants/filters, and navigation from exceptions to resolution apps (e.g., reschedule/cancel proposals within Manage Material Coverage)

9.Industry experience in regulated environments (preferred)

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

SAP Lead – Supply Chain Planning (SAP S/4HANA & IBP)

1.Serve as functional lead/SME for supply chain planning across SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP, owning day-to-day support, continuous improvement, and the planning roadmap.

2.Partner with Supply Chain Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Distribution stakeholders to elicit/document requirements, facilitate workshops, and translate needs into functional designs and system solutions.

3.Design, configure, test, and deploy planning solutions across:

o S/4HANA planning (MRP, demand/independent requirements, consumption strategies, planning parameters, and planning master data / process integration).

o SAP IBP footprint (demand, supply, inventory, response & supply, integrated planning), including planning areas, master data integration, and planning operators.

4.Perform gap analysis against standard SAP functionality; propose solution options and recommend scalable, best-practice-aligned approaches (including proof-of-concept where appropriate).

5.Lead end-to-end delivery of enhancements/projects: functional specifications, configuration, unit/system testing, defect triage, cutover planning, post-go-live support, and knowledge transfer.

6.Support integrations and interfaces for planning (IBP ↔ S/4HANA and related flows), partnering with technical teams on data mapping, monitoring, error handling, and performance/stability improvements.

7.Promote modern SAP user experiences and tools (SAP Fiori apps, embedded analytics, SAP Joule where applicable) to improve usability, adoption, and decision-making.

8.Provide incident and request support (break/fix): troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, prevention actions; document solutions and maintain support runbooks.

9.Develop and maintain functional documentation (process flows, configuration rationale, training materials); support user training, UAT coordination, and change management.

10. Work effectively with global stakeholders across US and EU time zones as part of a global SAP Center of Excellence; act as long-term functional owner accountable for solution health, roadmap evolution, and planning capability maturity.

QUALIFICATIONS

3.Strong SAP S/4HANA planning experience (MRP, demand/independent requirements, consumption strategies, planning parameters, and planning-relevant master data/process integration).

4.Hands-on SAP IBP experience across demand/supply/inventory/response & supply/integrated planning, including planning areas, master data & integration concepts, and planning operators.

5.Implementation delivery experience (2+ full lifecycle programs preferred) spanning design, build, test, cutover, and hypercare for S/4HANA and/or IBP.
