Kasa Living
Job Description
About Kasa
Kasa is the leading tech-enabled hotel and apartment hotel brand and manager. We partner with owners of multifamily and boutique hospitality properties to deliver stylish, professionally managed accommodations to business and leisure travelers alike. We took the best that hotels and short-term rentals had to offer and created a new class of hospitality that is well-priced, reliable, and offers a large selection of great locations.
Unlike traditional hotel operators, we prioritize automation, AI-driven pricing, and data-driven decision-making to optimize revenue and improve guest experiences. Behind the scenes, we build technology that combines with our innovative operations to grow a globally scalable offering that delivers high-quality stays to guests. Our guests enjoy seamless check-ins, caring service, and attractive amenities — and if anything comes up, our on-site and remote guest experience team is available throughout their stay, ensuring our hospitality is rarely seen but always felt.
The Role
The Social Media & Visual Content Lead will build and run the creative engine behind our brand. This role takes full accountability for Kasa's social media presence across all platforms and owns all visual content production — photography, video, graphics. This person will develop Kasa’s social strategy, create and curate compelling content, manage the editorial calendar, evaluate and manage influencer partnerships, and collaborate with Performance Marketing on paid social and retargeting initiatives. We're looking for an AI-native creative who is as fluent in emerging content tools as they are in brand strategy, and who can eventually grow into broader brand ownership.
This is a rare opportunity to build a social and visual program largely from scratch at a hospitality company that's growing quickly.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Content Creation
- Own and grow Kasa's social presence across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
- Develop monthly social content calendar, planning themes, campaigns, and lead daily execution
- Develop a distinct, ownable social voice for Kasa that reflects our brand positioning and resonates with our target traveler
- Produce or direct original short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, property walkthroughs, lifestyle content)
- Identify and engage with UGC creators, local photographers, and brand partners to expand content output
- Manage comments, DMs, and community conversations across major platforms, while also identifying opportunities for proactive engagement (e.g., monitoring competitor activity and social trends)
- Develop and manage an influencer/creator strategy aligned to Kasa’s brand, markets, and target guest segments
- Work closely with Performance Marketing to align organic learnings with paid creative testing, retargeting, and audience insights.
- Partner with other cross-functional stakeholders on brand campaigns, advertising creative, and collateral production
Photography & Visual Content Production
- Own end-to-end photography and video production for all Kasa properties: vendor sourcing, scheduling, shot list development, on-site coordination, and post-production oversight
- Maintain and evolve Kasa's visual brand standards, ensuring consistency across OTAs, the Kasa website, social channels, and marketing campaigns
- Manage a preferred vendor network of photographers, videographers, and retouchers; negotiate contracts and rates
- Lead photo refresh cycles for existing properties on a quality-review cadence
- Leverage AI-powered creative tools (generative image/video, automated editing workflows) to improve production speed and quality
Performance Tracking & Insights
- Track and report on social performance metrics; iterate quickly based on what's working
- Report on KPIs including engagement, reach, video views, saves, follower growth, CTR, and contribution to traffic.
- Maintain a weekly insights summary and inform quarterly content and creative strategy.
- Use data to propose experiments across formats, storytelling, and timing.
What You’ll Bring
- 4-6+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or brand creative — preferably in travel, hospitality, or lifestyle
- Strong creator instincts with proven experience producing engaging short‑form video (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Deep understanding of social trends, platform algorithms, and community behavior.
- Proven track record growing an organic social audience and community for a brand
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual sensibility: photography direction, graphic design, and/or video content
- Active practitioner of AI creative tools (Midjourney, Runway, Adobe Firefly, or similar) — you use these daily, not occasionally
- Strong project management instincts; you can juggle multiple photo shoots and a content calendar simultaneously
- Innate cross-functional collaborator, particularly across performance marketing, creative, revenue, and operations teams.
- High visual and editorial standards; ability to express brand voice in writing and video.
- Comfort with hands‑on creation (shooting, editing, copywriting) and managing freelancers or creators.
- Analytical mindset: able to interpret metrics, identify patterns, and refine strategy.
