WATER QUALITY PLATFORM  

Water Quality (‘WQ”) Platform is part of the Environmental & Applied Solutions reporting segment and is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater, and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. Our water quality business provides products under a variety of brands, including Hach, Trojan Technologies, McCrometer and ChemTreat.  WQ Asia has sales offices in India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.  

Hach-TH Water Quality Platform, a part of the Hach Company, is a leader in manufacturing and distributing analytical instruments and reagents used to test water quality and other liquid solutions. In response to the rapidly expanding reagent in water test business in Thailand, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Water Quality Thailand Group as a Senior Accountant (Budgeting & Reporting).

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Accountant is responsible for general financial accounting, analytical reporting, cost management, and oversight of accounts receivable activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong financial controls for ADC.  This role covers end‑to‑end financial accounting, month‑end close, actual versus forecast analysis, costing, and financial performance evaluation.  The Senior Accountant partners closely with the manager, business leaders and cross‑functional teams to support sound financial decision‑making and compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities include:

Financial Reporting & Closing

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Support month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries and reconciliations

• Assist in management and consolidated reporting

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts

• Analyze budget vs. actual variances and provide insights

• Support cost control and business planning with relevant analysis

• Coordinate budgeting inputs with departments

Financial Analysis & Business Support

• Prepare financial analysis and reports for management

• Support decision-making with clear financial insights

• Assist with financial modeling and scenario analysis when required

Others

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements

• Support internal and external audits

• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in general financial accounting and financial analysis.

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, general ledger, month‑end close, and internal controls.

• Proven experience in actual vs forecast reporting, variance analysis, and management reporting.

• Solid understanding of costing and margin analysis.

• Strong Excel and MS Office skills; ERP experience preferred.

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.

• Ability to review others’ work and provide clear guidance.

• Able to work independently, proactively, and under pressure.

• Fluent in Thai and good English communication skills (listen, read, write, and speak).
