You will demonstrate excellent sales presentation skills as well as a thorough technical understanding of HVAC products. This self-starter will work effectively with a wide range of administrative, sales, and account management responsibilities. You should have work history that demonstrates excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving aptitude. Extraordinary interpersonal skills and a high degree of personal integrity are ideal. 

 

The Product Owner A/W Heat Pumps has the end-to-end responsibility for the Viessmann Air / Water Heat Pumps for the Toshiba and Carrier brands in Europe. S/he is responsible for ideation and incubation of innovative products and systems based on the company vision, product line strategy, sales & customer insight. The PO is responsible to orchestrate & track the development, launch, marketing & sales and ultimately to guide the phase-out. S/he writes user stories and validates high level requirements before and throughout development and prioritizes the backlog toward building the right product, considering the vision, planning, and budgets of the customers, business needs and pain points. The person is the go-to-person for all Air / Water Heat Pumps for the Carrier and Toshiba branded Heat Pumps in Europe and knows by heart both entities. 

 

Requirements 

 

  • Deeply understands User and Partner needs, market trends, technology trends, competitive trends and ensures customer satisfaction. 

  • Maintains close co-operation with the Market Activation Manager (MAM) in the area of Residential Electric for all relevant markets. 

  • Aggregates customer insights to create the vision for the next product, writes user stories and creates the business case in alignment with development (sizing) & sales (volumes) to gain approval and achieve prioritization on the project development roadmap. 

  • Orchestrates project execution and market activation across all interfaces, incl. development, quality, service, training, documentation, sales and marketing. 

  • Identifies and evaluates risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating where appropriate. 

  • Assumes lifecycle responsibility for dedicated product, initiates corrective actions for ad-hoc issues that may arise with the current product portfolio e.g. quality challenges. 

  • Delivers baseline assessments and post-implementation analyses to evaluate and track the realization of business benefits. 

  • Responsible to manage the stakeholders at the interfaces in a global matrix. 

  • Has the Willingness to travel occasionally (max. 15% of the time). 

  • Hybrid working model (One day of home office per week, 4 days in the office Allendorf or on business trip). 

 

 

Your Profile 

 

  • Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams. 

  • University Degree (Master) or advanced technical colleague (Bachelor)   

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the related field 

  • Languages Skills English + German
