What You'll Do

As a Founding Frontend Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our initial team, playing a pivotal role in designing and building our core product from the ground up. You’ll push the frontiers of AI and human collaboration on some of the most data-heavy analytical projects that insurance professionals work on.

More specifically, you will:

As a Founding Frontend Engineer, you'll own the surface that humans use to collaborate with AI agents on complex analytical work - a workspace where agents read thousands of documents, write and execute code, and build interactive tools alongside domain experts in real time.
Design the UX for long-horizon agentic work - build the interaction patterns for multi-turn, multi-tool systems where agents run for minutes, branch into parallel subtasks, and produce rich artifacts. There's no playbook for this; you'll be writing it.
Build a platform for AI-generated apps - agents in our product create full React applications on the fly. You'll architect the sandbox runtime, the live preview system, and the component library that makes this possible.
Raise the bar for frontend development - build the components, documentation, guardrails, and automations that make both humans and AI agents more efficient at shipping great UI.
Go full-stack when the problem demands it - the entire platform is TypeScript, frontend to agent runtime. You'll follow features end-to-end and have opinions about the APIs you consume.
Give domain experts superpowers - actuaries and underwriters use our platform to work across thousands of documents in parallel, with access to code execution and coding agents. You'll make that power feel intuitive.
Collaborate closely with design, backend, and ML engineers to deliver end-to-end experiences.
Rapidly prototype and iterate on features using our closed-loop dev cycle - build, preview, and ship without leaving the platform.

Who You Are

We're looking for an ambitious and creative builder who is excited to tackle hard problems.

You are genuinely passionate about AI and energized by approaching ambiguous challenges from first principles.
Have deep experience building production-grade web applications with modern frameworks (React, Next.js, TypeScript).
Care about performance, accessibility, and pixel-perfect implementation.
Have strong UI/UX sensibilities and enjoy collaborating with designers to ship delightful experiences.
Are a collaborative, fast learner who wants to join a small team and have an outsized impact.
Have experience with data visualization, realtime systems, or working on complex workflow tools.
