Department Overview

At Motorola Solutions, we create technologies our customers refer to as their lifeline. Dimetra is providing a mission critical TETRA-based communication system. Dimetra Network Management team is responsible for system configuration and monitoring solutions. Our products are based on various technologies and are entirely developed and tested in our R&D center in Krakow.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer Intern who will join one of our scrum teams responsible for end to end software development lifecycle. Every day you will cooperate with experienced professionals on planning, development, testing and maintenance of the customer features. If you are open minded, willing to learn new things and seeking growth opportunities then join our team.
 

Basic Requirements

• Good knowledge of Java (JDK 21)

• Python, BASH or other scripting language knowledge

• Clear English communication skills (B1+ or higher)

• Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn

• Minimum availability of 32 hours per week

• Readiness for a 15-month employment contract (UoP)

• Ability to work from our Kraków office 2 days per week

Nice-to-have skills:

• Linux system skills

• CI/CD tools and techniques, ie: Jenkins

• Experience working with GIT, Artifactory, JIRA

• Knowledge of network protocols
