We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the digital and technology agenda for the French affiliate, driving business growth and competitive advantage through innovative AI and Digital solutions. This role is a strategic partner to the affiliate leadership team, shaping and executing a digital roadmap that accelerates commercial performance, enhances customer engagement, and optimizes operational excellence.


The Associate Director, AI & Digital Business Partner will champion the adoption of advanced technologies — including AI and data-driven platforms — to unlock new revenue streams, strengthen partnerships, and deliver measurable business impact. This position requires a strong commercial mindset, influencing at the highest levels to ensure technology investments translate into tangible business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute the affiliate’s digital strategy aligned with commercial objectives and growth priorities.
  • Drive business transformation initiatives that enhance customer experience, streamline operations, and deliver ROI.
  • Identify and implement innovative technologies to strengthen external stakeholder engagement and accelerate market access.
  • Partner with senior leadership to integrate digital capabilities into core business processes and commercial models.
  • Lead cross-functional programs ensuring alignment between global strategy and local execution.
  • Champion change management through clear communication, training, and governance to ensure adoption and sustainability.
  • Act as a thought leader on emerging technologies (AI, automation, analytics) and their application to business challenges.
  • Monitor and optimize performance of digital initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and measurable impact.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven track record in digital strategy and business transformation within complex, regulated environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience aligning technology investments to revenue growth and market competitiveness.
  • Leadership experience managing senior stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
  • Deep understanding of AI and advanced technologies with practical applications in commercial and operational contexts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and French.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital transformation, IT strategy, or technology leadership roles, including significant exposure to commercial operations.
  • 5+ years in senior leadership positions driving cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes.

On-site Protocol

BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
