About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in Thailand, focusing on Chinese Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). This role requires a strong understanding of the Chinese language and culture, as well as expertise in handling key accounts to foster long-term business relationships.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Chinese OEM clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.

  • Conduct market analysis to identify business opportunities and create innovative solutions tailored to Chinese OEMs.

  • Communicate effectively with clients in Mandarin and English to negotiate contracts, manage expectations, and resolve issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Thai and English to design and implement marketing strategies that align with Chinese OEMs' cultural and business practices.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market and provide insights to the senior management team.

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market conditions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, preferably within the automotive industry.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin, English and Thai, both written and spoken as there will be a need to deal with Chinese OEMs in Thailand market and working closely with regional team.

  • Strong cultural acumen and ability to navigate Chinese business practices.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-value accounts.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
