As a Process Support Engineer (PSE), you'll play a critical role in guiding products through their entire lifecycle, from initial concept to final qualification. You will provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and the service and repair of complex systems and equipment. PSEs work closely with customers and R&D teams to develop leading-edge processes used to manufacture advanced semiconductor chips, and create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOEs). You'll analyze data with statistics and compile reports with high-level conclusions on technically challenging process engineering experiments. Additionally, you will troubleshoot complex problems, perform root cause analyses, and resolve difficult process engineering and customer product issues. Process Support Engineers work across technologies such as: Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal and Implant.

Role Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary customer-facing technical lead, independently driving high-visibility support for global fab operations and resolving complex equipment and process issues

  • Lead cross-functional technical programs across multiple tools or process areas, taking ownership to align scope, milestones, risks, and priorities with customer manufacturing needs

  • Translate customer technical and operational needs into clear execution plans, roadmaps, and prioritized actions, working collaboratively across engineering, account, and business unit teams

  • Translate technical outcomes into measurable customer value, including yield improvement, uptime, cycle time reduction, and cost-of-ownership (CoO)

  • Own end-to-end program governance, independently defining success metrics, decision frameworks, risk management plans, and executive-level updates

  • Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and escalations across tools, processes, and organizations with minimal supervision

  • Work collaboratively across engineering, account, and business unit teams to align priorities, resolve conflicts, and deliver integrated solutions

  • Partner closely with customer teams as an extension of their organization, demonstrating accountability, ownership, and trust through transparent and collaborative execution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optoelectronics, or a related field

  • 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, equipment engineering, or fab operations

  • Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent contributor, owning technical programs or cross-functional initiatives in customer-facing or on-site roles

  • Solid understanding of fab operations, qualification flows, and manufacturing constraints in high-volume or advanced-node environments

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive decisions independently

  • Proven effectiveness working in a matrix environment, balancing autonomy with strong teamwork and collaboration

  • Comfortable operating at the intersection of technology, operations, and business, including prioritization, escalation management, and value discussions

  • Proficient in presentation development and data visualization, including tools such as PowerPoint, Power BI, and Tableau; proficient in English (written and verbal), with additional language skills (e.g., Chinese or Japanese) as a plus

Work Location

  • Based in Singapore (Upper Changi office), with regular interaction across fab, account, and corporate teams

  • Willing to travel quarterly for customer meetings
