An exciting opportunity has arisen on the production of Large Engine pumps an Assembly and test Technician to join Rolls-Royce in Birmingham. This individual will also participate in continuous improvement activities, 5S and Problem Solving as required to ensure that the Pump Value Stream is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Building and Testing Large Engine Pumps
  • Diagnosing faults and problem solving within the Assembly and test area
  • Maintaining and updating calibration records, maintaining master calibration equipment and all test equipment used
  • Carryout TPM, POI and reporting incidents and breakdowns on the Maximo system

What you will need

  • Apprenticeship in Engineering discipline or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience of working in an Assembly and Test environment
  • Demonstrable experience of manual handling dexterity
  • Experience in using test and assembly equipment system
