Schedule: This is a 2nd shift position, Monday–Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
Purpose
The Robotic Assembly Technician is an essential part of the production team, responsible for operating and supporting automated robotic assembly equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role focuses on consistent production output, equipment reliability, and adherence to safety and quality standards within the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS).
The Role
As a Robotic Assembly Technician, you will perform hands-on work operating robotic assembly cells, monitoring production processes, and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently. You will work directly on the production floor, supporting daily schedules, meeting output targets, and ensuring high-quality assemblies for automotive, aerospace, and defense products.
Key Responsibilities:
Operation & Production
- Operate robotic assembly cells according to daily production plans.
- Run start-up, dry runs, collision checks, and shut-down procedures.
- Monitor part flow, cycle times, and machine performance to stay on schedule.
- Make basic adjustments to equipment settings to maintain consistent operation.
- Follow all work instructions, quality standards, and SOPs.
- Assist with routine preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime.
