Senior Engineer, Digital Design Verification Engineering – ATE Business Unit

Take your Digital IC Verification expertise to the next level — with global collaboration and cuttingedge technology — at Analog Devices’ Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) Business Unit.

We deliver high-performance solutions, including pin electronics, digital timing generators, device power supplies, switches, and multiplexers — enabling faster, more accurate, and cost-effective semiconductor testing worldwide. Trusted by top semiconductor companies, ADI offers a platform for innovation and growth.

As a Senior Digital Design Verification Engineer, you will work with a worldwide, crossfunctional team to verify complex digital subsystems that interact closely with analog and mixedsignal designs. You will play a key role in ensuring firstsilicon success, while mentoring junior engineers and helping continuously improve our digital verification methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and own digital verification plans to ensure presilicon designs meet product specifications.

  • Develop constrainedrandom, selfchecking verification environments using industrystandard methodologies.

  • Build and maintain UVMbased testbenches, including drivers, monitors, scoreboards, and coverage models.

  • Execute blocklevel and chiplevel verification, including regressions and coverage closure.

  • Work closely with digital designers, analog designers, and system architects to achieve high verification quality.

  • Review simulation results, debug RTL issues, and drive resolution of functional and performance gaps.

  • Contribute to verification flow improvements, automation, and bestpractice sharing across the team.

  • Support silicon bringup by correlating silicon measurements with presilicon simulations, when needed.

  • Mentor junior engineers and support technical onboarding of new hires and interns.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the digital IC verification process flow, including planning, execution, and closure.

  • Handson experience developing UVMbased verification environments.

  • Proficient in SystemVerilog, Verilog, and ObjectOriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

  • Experience with functional and code coverage and driving coverage closure.

  • Solid understanding of common digital design pain points and verification challenges.

  • Familiarity with industrystandard digital interfaces and protocols such as I2C, SPI, I2S, LVDS, and similar.

  • Experience working in multisite or global engineering teams.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.

  • At least 5 years of relevant Digital IC Design Verification experience.

Additional Skills (Advantageous)

  • Knowledge of Python, Perl, or Shell scripting for verification automation.

  • Exposure to mixedsignal verification or digitalanalog interaction.

  • Experience in technical leadership or team mentoring.

  • Familiarity with ATErelated digital architectures or highperformance digital systems.

Work Arrangement and Travel:
This role offers a hybrid work setup, combining onsite and remote work. Occasional domestic and international travel is expected for technical conferences, and team engagements.

Why Join Us? At ADI, we’re committed to your professional development — offering continuous learning opportunities, technical mentorship, and leadership growth. You’ll work alongside a diverse, worldwide team, gaining exposure to innovative technologies and industry best practices. Be part of a team that shapes the future of semiconductor testing.
