Role Overview

The Technical Product Owner translates innovation concepts into working prototypes and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs). This role bridges innovation and product delivery by quick validation of new ideas, testing emerging technologies, and building prototypes.

Working closely with the Innovation Leads, engineering teams, and ecosystem partners, the Technical Product Owner will design and deliver prototype solutions, technical integrations, and demos that validate innovation initiatives.

This role will report into the Head of Lending Portfolio Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate innovation concepts into technical prototypes and POCs.

• Define user requirements, technical specifications, and workflows for innovation initiatives.

• Design prototypes, demos, and wireframes using tools such as Figma.

• Coordinate with engineering teams to develop lightweight prototype applications and API-based integrations.

• Define and document integration requirements for fintech partners and APIs.

• Evaluate technical feasibility, scalability, and architectural considerations.

• Support client demos and internal innovation showcases.

• Work within sandbox environments to rapidly test new capabilities.

• Capture insights from POCs and support transition into MVP development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technical product ownership, product management, solution design, or innovation.

• Experience creating demos using Figma or similar tools; and building MVPs.

• Strong understanding of API-based architectures, integrations, and software platforms.

• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and microservices-based systems.

• Experience creating demos using Figma or similar tools.

• Ability to translate high-level innovation concepts into detailed product requirements.

• Experience working in agile product environments with rapid experimentation cycles.

• Strong collaboration skills across product, engineering, and innovation teams.

Preferred

• Experience working with banking or lending technology platforms.

• Familiarity with tokenization, blockchain infrastructure, stablecoins, or AI-enabled financial systems.

• Familiarity with data models and analytics outputs.
