Summary 

  • We are looking for a talented Account Executive / Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing Brandwatch Sales organization. You will be responsible for driving new revenue in Greater China. 
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in SaaS sales with a skillset including, but not limited to, strategic prospecting, disciplined pipeline generation, structured discovery, complex deal management, platform demonstration, cross-selling, negotiation and executive stakeholder engagement.  
  • A key part of this role will be leveraging internal Cision and PR Newswire existing relationships in China market to identify Brandwatch opportunities. 
  • You will drive growth by engaging some of China’s largest organizations, and selling the value of Social Listening / Consumer Intelligence as well as Social Media Management and digital strategy in general. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Own and deliver net-new Revenue within Greater China territory. 
  • Generate and maintain sufficient qualified pipeline to achieve consistent new-logo revenue targets. 
  • Execute defined prospecting, discovery, value articulation, negotiation, and close processes. 
  • Apply structured sales methodologies aligned to established go-to-market standards. 
  • Manage shorter sales cycles with moderate stakeholder complexity. 
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and disciplined CRM documentation. 
  • Transition closed accounts to post-sale teams upon contract execution. 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to support business needs. 

Job Level Competencies 

  • Extensive knowledge and application of Sales principles, theories and concepts.  
  • Develops solutions to complex problems where analysis of situations and/or data requires in-depth evaluation of variables. Determine the best approach to achieve results and provide suggestions to improve policies and procedures.  
  • Work is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion.  
  • May represent the organization as primary contact on assignments and/or projects. Interacts with senior professionals and management and frequently coordinates work between departments or organizations. 

Qualifications 

  • Typical experience: 5+ years in related role or experience.  
  • Experience in B2B Tech sales with quota responsibility. 
  • Demonstrated ability to close new-logo business. 
  • Strong communication and discovery skills. 
  • Full proficiency in Mandarin and English  
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools.
