Reporting to the Sales Director Hach India & South Asia, the Vertical Sales Manager - Municipal will be responsible to achieve consistent revenue growth in West region (with focus on but not limited to Gujarat & Madhya Pradesh) for Govt sector for water in a compliant manner.

Develop opportunities across Water departments at Centre, State, Municipal Corporations, Municipalities, Public Health Engineering Departments, Urban and Rural water boards and consultants.

Discover opportunities at early stages, build partnerships with Consultants Civil Contractors, Electro-Mechanical Partners, Level-1 & Level-2 Electrical & Instrumentation Contractors, Automation System Partners & Authorized Distributors.

This position requires an in-depth understanding and hands-on experience in Water sector, and strong sales leadership skills.

This position is part of the India Commercial Organization located in Ahmedabad and will be Hybrid.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Ensure all business is conducted in a fully compliant manner, proactively mitigate business risks, meet all legal and statutory requirements

  • Develop a go-to-market strategy, execute action plans to exceed expectations

  • Adhere to Standard Work

  • Learn and deploy business processes using Veralto Enterprise Systems (VES), Develop and manage a robust sales funnel to drive customer retention and competitive wins

  • Achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual orders & revenue growth objectives.

  • Collaborate internally to achieve highest standards of customer satisfaction and meet customer’s application requirements.

  • Develop & Nurture relationships with Ket Accounts

  • In collaboration with marketing team, ensure highest visibility of Hach solutions with key stakeholders

  • Stay insightful and leverate key market as well as competitor intelligence

  • Embrace Veralto values and demonstrate continuous improvement culture.

The essential requirements of the job include:  

Graduation in Chemistry / Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering

Post Graduation in Business Management is an advantage

TRAVEL (REQUIRED ESTIMATED % OF TIME) : 70-80%

REQUIRED EXPEREINCE

  • Experience of 10 - 12 years in sales & business development with Govt Water and Public Infrastructure Sectors.
