[Job Summary]
GovTech is looking for a Lead/Senior Localization Product Manager to spearhead the adaptation and deployment of our AI Programme products across the diverse technological landscape of the public sector. While our core mission is to transition the government to an "AI-augmented" state, the reality of public service involves a complex web of varying data classifications and disparate technology stacks.

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that our high-impact AI products are not just "built," but are successfully localized and integrated into environments ranging from commercial cloud to highly secured, air-gapped government infrastructures. You will set the gold standard for how AI remains performant and compliant, regardless of the stack it sits on.

[Key Responsibilities]

1. Strategic Adaptation & Cross-Stack Vision

  • Develop a multi-year product roadmap for the localization and porting of AI products across different government technology stacks (e.g., GCC, private clouds, and on-premise environments).
  • Define the strategy for "Data-Centric Localization," ensuring AI capabilities are optimized to handle different data classification tiers (e.g. Restricted, Confidential, Secret) without compromising product performance.

2. Product Execution & Technical Governance

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle for adapting complex AI products into restricted environments, solving for "messy" infrastructure dependencies and network constraints.
  • Manage the "Compliance vs. Capability" balance: Make critical product decisions on how to maintain product performance (i.e accuracy, latency) within hardware-constrained or secure-siloed environments.
  • Oversee the deployment of modular AI capabilities (Generative AI, Agentic workflows) as portable "Government-as-a-Platform" components.

3. Localization & Adaptation

  • Partner with technical leads to map out Government unique technology stacks and security requirements, identifying barriers to AI adoption.
  • Translate high-level AI product features into specific technical "localization requirements" for engineering teams (e.g., containerization needs, local model hosting, and offline processing).
  • Ensure that AI interventions remain "effortless to use" even when deployed within high-security, high-friction environments.

4. Mentorship & Product Localization Excellence

  • Mentor Product Managers on the nuances of product-market fit within government silos, fostering a culture of "Infrastructure-Aware Design."
  • Establish frameworks for "Best-in-Class" AI Localization, including metrics for deployment velocity across stacks and performance parity between open and restri
