The Event Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the strategy that builds out the Kpler brand and drives demand generation by marketing and implementing hosted events, trade shows, and sponsored participation.
The successful candidate will work directly with marketing, sales, analysts, and product stakeholders helping to plan, create, and deliver amazing events supporting demand and engagement. This is a brilliant opportunity for a passionate events specialist who has proven experience in performing under pressure, is self-motivated, and is a team player but can also work independently.
What you'll do
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of global sponsored and hosted events, ensuring high-quality execution aligned with company and event objectives.
• Project manage all aspects of event marketing, planning, and logistics, including campaign strategy, product positioning, branding, technology, and on-site execution.
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders to plan, create, and coordinate events, serving as the central point of contact from concept through completion.
• Manage event deliverables from start to finish, including budget development, materials production, staffing, on-site setup, and post-event reporting and analysis.
• Lead venue sourcing, evaluation, and contracting, making strategic recommendations and negotiating and managing all venue and vendor agreements.
• Oversee sponsorship execution and deliverables, including booth design and management, branded collateral, and giveaways.
• Coordinate speaker and content management, delegate communications, and staffing schedules to ensure seamless experiences.
• Stay current on event industry trends, venues, technologies, and best practices, introducing new ideas and innovations to continually evolve and elevate event offerings.
About you
• +6 years of experience delivering event executions and hosting full events in various scenarios
• Working knowledge of event tech and martech desirable – Salesforce, Cvent, Jira, etc
• Understanding of events performance metrics and ROI reporting
• Expert communication skills without a fear of over communication. Effective collaboration and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively, and able to meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Global experience desirable, global mindset a must – some travel required
• An understanding of budget management and the importance of accurately reporting on expenditures
• A good communicator who can rally people behind a plan and convey the excitement these events need
• Collaborative mindset who likes connecting the dots across departments to solve problems.
