Job Description:

A Workshop Foreman at UPS (often referred to as a Mech 3/Foreman in the automotive facility) is a key leadership role responsible for the daily operation of the automotive workshop, ensuring the maintenance and repair of the package delivery fleet. They lead a team of technicians, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with all legislative, maintenance, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of technicians, prioritizing work orders, and fostering a collaborative, safe work environment.
Fleet Maintenance: Oversee the repair and maintenance of a large fleet of package vehicles, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and compliant with all regulations.
Workshop Operations: Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, inventory, and stock control, while following established maintenance methods.
