Job Summary
The Part-Time Hockey Analytics Video Assistant will support the Hockey Analytics team through video review and basic game data tracking. This position involves watching NHL games to log events and supporting additional research projects as needed. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in hockey, pays close attention to detail, and is eager to learn in a team-focused environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Break down hockey game film and convert observations into actionable data
- Attend select games in person to track and record events live as needed
- Support the Hockey Analytics team with additional research and analysis projects as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the game of hockey
- Playing or coaching experience required
- Ability to learn quickly, retain information, and apply training effectively
- High attention to detail with strong critical‑thinking skills
- Demonstrated commitment to producing quality work and contributing to team success
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Working Conditions
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in office and arena environment that can be exciting, loud and distracting
- Ability to work extended hours including late nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift/carry/move up to 10lbs
- Ability to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures
- Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time, walk long distances and climb stairs.
- Ability to work comfortable around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc
- Must be able to walk up to 0.5 miles to and from designated employee parking areas, including in varying weather conditions and during high-traffic event times
