Job Description

As an Associate Marketing Data Analyst, you will support Datadog’s Marketing Analytics team by ensuring critical marketing data is consistently updated, accurate, and accessible—primarily through the ownership and maintenance of key Excel/Google sheets relied on across the organization Alongside this, you will play an important role in maintaining core Marketing dashboards to ensure stakeholders, including Marketing leadership, have reliable and up-to-date insights in Tableau. You will also support ad-hoc data requests in a fast-paced environment where responsiveness and precision are essential. This is an excellent opportunity to build foundational analytics experience while developing strong business acumen and stakeholder partnership skills.

What You’ll Do:

  • Update and maintain key Excel and Google Sheets used by the Marketing team for ongoing reporting and decision-making
  • Maintain and support core marketing dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
  • Provide timely data exports and reporting support to Marketing leadership and broader Marketing stakeholders
  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests with speed and attention to detail
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand and fulfill data needs
  • Translate business requirements into actionable data outputs

Who You Are:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role
  • Experience working with SQL to extract and manipulate data
  • Familiarity with BI tools for dashboarding and reporting
  • Comfortable working with Excel and/or Google Sheets in a business environment
  • Strong ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and communicate effectively
  • Able to quickly understand and translate business requirements into data solutions
