As a Director of Sales Enablement for International (EMEA & APJ) at Rubrik, you occupy a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of strategy and field execution. Rubrik operates in a hyper-growth environment, and this role is specifically designed to bridge the gap between global corporate strategy and the diverse regional nuances of the international theatres.
Role Purpose
The Director of Sales Enablement International (EMEA & APJ) is responsible for the productivity and readiness of the international sales organization. You will architect and scale enablement programs—from onboarding to advanced "Value Selling"—ensuring that Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and Channel Partners in these regions are equipped to communicate Rubrik’s Zero Trust Data Security and AI-driven resilience value propositions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional Strategy & Roadmap
- Localised Execution: Translate global enablement initiatives into regional success stories by adapting content for local market maturity, languages, and business cultures.
- Gap Analysis: Conduct regular assessments of the sales team’s skills and performance to identify regional "readiness gaps."
- Executive Partnership: Act as the primary strategic partner to the EMEA and APJ General Managers, aligning enablement KPIs with regional revenue targets.
- Program Development & Delivery
- Onboarding: Manage a world-class onboarding journey that reduces "Time-to-Productivity" for new hires across multiple time zones.
- Methodology Mastery: Drive the adoption of Rubrik’s chosen sales methodology (e.g., MEDDIC, Command of the Message) to ensure consistency in pipeline qualification and deal execution.
- Product & AI Readiness: Collaborate with Product Marketing to launch training for new features in the Rubrik Security Cloud and Rubrik Agent Cloud.
- Channel & Partner Enablement
- Partnerisation: Oversee the "Partnerisation" of internal sales materials so that Rubrik’s vast ecosystem of distributors and resellers can sell with the same proficiency as internal teams.
- Champion Programs: Scale regional "Tech Champion" and "Sales Champion" programs to build a community of advocates within the partner network.
- Metrics & Operational Excellence
- Data-Driven Insights: Track and report on enablement impact via CRM (Salesforce) and Sales Engagement tools (Clari, Salesloft).
- KPI Ownership: Measure success through metrics such as quota attainment, win rates, and the adoption of new product plays.
Qualifications & Experience
The "Must-Haves"
- Experience: 10+ years in Sales Enablement, Sales Operations, or Sales Leadership within a high-growth SaaS or Cybersecurity environment.
- Leadership: 5+ years of experience leading international teams, with a proven ability to manage remote staff across EMEA and APJ.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the international landscape, including regional business practices and the competitive cybersecurity market.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency with Salesforce, Highspot/Seismic (CMS), and LMS platforms. Experience with AI-assisted coaching tools is a major plus.
