Physician Assistant – ENT (Otolaryngology) | Full-Time, Days

Our Advanced Otolaryngology program unites a distinguished team of specialists to offer comprehensive, coordinated diagnosis and treatment for a wide spectrum of conditions involving the ear, nose, throat, sinuses, and related head and neck structures. The Center for Ear, Nose and Throat Medicine provides expert care for:

  • Throat and voice disorders

  • Allergy and nasal breathing conditions

  • Sinus disease and disorders

  • Ear conditions and hearing impairment

Role Overview

The full-time ENT Physician Assistant will support the growing Otolaryngology service by contributing to both outpatient and inpatient care. Responsibilities include:

  • Seeing patients in the ENT clinic to support patient volume

  • Performing inpatient consults

  • Rounding on inpatients

  • Conducting bedside procedures

  • Assisting in the operating room

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. during the training period

  • Transition to three 12.5‑hour shifts upon completion of training

  • May include nights, weekends, or holidays

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies

  • NYS PA Licensure

  • Current NCCPA Certification

  • ACLS/BLS certification

  • NYS Infection Control certification

  • DEA Certification and compliance with NYS Opioid Prescriber training

  • Minimum of one year of experience in ENT

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
