Job Title: Enterprise Architect – ERP, Migration & AMS (Build + Run Ownership)

The Enterprise Architect owns end-to-end enterprise architecture, ERP transformation, application migration, and Application Management Services (AMS) across the organization’s engineering, enterprise, ERP, SaaS, AI, and cloud ecosystem.

The role ensures platforms are designed, migrated, implemented, and operated to be secure, scalable, compliant, stable, and cost-effective, while supporting application separation, ERP transformation, and long-term operational excellence.

Scope spans the full lifecycle:

Business → Application → Integration → Data → Security → AI → ERP → AMS (Run)

What will you do?

-Enterprise & Solution Architecture

  • Own architecture across ERP (SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, SuccessFactors), enterprise platforms (Microsoft 365, Power Platform), engineering and project applications, SaaS ecosystem, and AI-enabled solutions
  • Define target architecture, transition states, and transformation roadmaps
  • Ensure architectural alignment across business functions, regions, and platforms
  • Act as the enterprise-wide design authority

-ERP Transformation & Ownership (Build + Run)

  • Lead architecture for Oracle → SAP S/4HANA transformation
  • Define ERP migration, coexistence, and cutover strategies
  • Ensure ERP is designed for operability, scalability, and long-term AMS support
  • Own ERP lifecycle:
  • Design → Build → Migrate → Hypercare → AMS Run → Continuous Improvement
  • Act as ERP platform owner, ensuring stability and business continuity

-Application Migration, Separation & Rationalisation

  • Architect application separation into new independent enterprise environments
  • Govern migrations using structured lifecycle:

Drive:

  • SaaS adoption strategy
  • Hybrid vs cloud decisions
  • Tool consolidation and rationalisation
    Ensure every application has:
  • Business owner
  • Technical owner
  • AMS support model

-Application Management Services (AMS) – Full Ownership

Define and govern:

  • L1 / L2 / L3 support structure
  • 24x7 global support model
  • SLA and KPI frameworks

Ensure:

  • Smooth transition from project → AMS
  • Hypercare stabilization and knowledge transfer
  • Availability, performance, and reliability of all systems

Drive:

  • Incident, problem, and change management
  • Root cause analysis and incident reduction
  • Continuous service improvement and automation

-Integration, Data & Platform Architecture

  • Define integration patterns (API, event-driven, batch, middleware)
  • Ensure seamless integration across ERP, enterprise platforms, and applications

Establish:

  • Data ownership and governance
  • Data migration and transformation accuracy
    Ensure systems are monitorable, traceable, and analytics-ready

-Cloud, Infrastructure & SaaS Architecture

Architect Azure-based enterprise platform and SaaS ecosystem
Ensure infrastructure supports:

  • ERP workloads
  • AMS monitoring and observability
  • High availability and disaster recovery
    Define scalable and cost-optimized platform strategies

-AI & Intelligent Systems Leadership

Lead architecture and adoption of AI/ML and intelligent systems
Ensure AI solutions are:

  • Production-ready
  • Governed under AMS
  • Aligned with responsible AI principles
    Provide oversight on AI compliance, monitoring, and lifecycle management

-Security, IAM & Governance

  • Embed security, IAM, and compliance into all architectures
  • Ensure secure access and identity lifecycle management
  • Act as governance authority across applications, ERP, and AMS
  • Define standards, patterns, and guardrails for enterprise systems

-Vendor Management & SAM

Lead vendor strategy, governance, and software asset management (SAM)
Collaborate with procurement on licensing and contract optimization
Manage:

  • System integrators
  • SaaS vendors
  • AMS service providers

Delivery, Run & Operations Alignment

Ensure architectural designs are aligned with real-world operations (AMS)
Work with:

  • Engineering teams
  • DevOps
  • Support team

Drive:

  • Stability and operability by design
  • Reduction of L2/L3 escalations
  • Cost-effective and supportable solutions

Team & Capability Leadership

Lead and mentor:

  • AMS teams
  • ERP teams
  • AI/ML teams
  • Security & IAM teams

Build internal capability and reduce dependency on vendors
Reinforce Build – Run – Own model across organization
Support hiring, training, and capability development

Experience, Education and other Required:

  • 15+ years in Enterprise / Solution Architecture roles
  • Strong experience in:
    • ERP transformation (Oracle → SAP S/4HANA)
    • Application migration & separation (large-scale environments)
    • Application Management Services (AMS) at scale
  • Proven ability to manage both transformation and operations (Build + Run)
  • Experience in:
    • SAP ecosystem and enterprise SaaS platforms
    • Cloud (Azure preferred) and hybrid architectures
    • Multi-vendor environments and governance
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability
  • Successful ERP transformation with minimal disruption
  • Seamless application migration and separation
  • High system availability and stability (ERP + applications)
