Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the promotion and selling of Johnson & Johnson Surgery portfolio, including Wound Closure, Energy, and related solutions, to surgeons and operating room professionals across assigned accounts.
  • Act as a senior-support individual contributor by executing non-routine sales and commercial activities while guiding junior or cross-functional team members to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
  • Provide operational and commercial support to Clinical Sales leadership through disciplined pipeline management, opportunity tracking, and preparation of executive-level updates.
  • Assist in the development and execution of Clinical Sales – Surgeons implementation plans, including identifying next steps required to close key opportunities.
  • Support and help facilitate regular bi‑weekly opportunity and pipeline reviews with leadership using a consistent, action-oriented sales methodology.
  • Coordinate and support product demonstrations, in‑service training, and clinical presentations at hospitals, networking events, conferences, and external symposiums.
  • Maintain strong clinical, procedural, and product knowledge across the Surgery portfolio, including support for new product introductions and technical troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo by maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, communication, and independent judgement in all customer interactions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Marketing, Nursing, Biomedical or a related field; healthcare or medical device background is preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in medical device sales, ideally with exposure to surgical or operating room environments.
  • Demonstrated sales achievement with the ability to support complex opportunities, analyse pipelines, and execute tasks that go beyond routine sales activities.
  • Strong understanding of clinical and procedural workflows in surgery, with the ability to communicate confidently with surgeons and OR stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to guide or support other team members, demonstrating emerging leadership, project coordination, and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and commercial enablement tools, with the ability to maintain accurate customer records and sales reporting.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and customer insights to support data-driven sales and account strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
