The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty member in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM). This position will provide clinical services at University of Louisville Hospital, a Level I trauma facility, our outpatient office, and our outreach hospital sites.Job Description:
MFM provides in-patient and outpatient imaging services for patients. The department's generalist faculty provides 24/7 in-house resident oversight. MFM call is primarily telephone back up for acute complications of pregnancy and coordination of maternal transport requests.
The Department of Ob/Gyn and Women's Health is comprised of 17 full-time physician faculty with representation of board-certified subspecialties of MFM, Gyn Onc, and FPMRS and members with focused practice in MIGS and Advanced Family Planning. Our team also includes three CNM and four women's health NP.
The department has a strong program of 24 residents who actively participate in section activities during their training. Current fellowship programs include FPMRS, minimally invasive gyn surgery, reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
Applicants must possess an MD degree, must have completed an accredited Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship and be board certified or eligible in the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the subspecialty in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
