Autodesk Operations Solutions is building a next-generation cloud platform – Tandem - that connects data and workflows across the whole manufacturing and facility lifecycle: from manufacturing engineering, process and facility design, production simulation to plant operations, monitoring and maintenance.
We are growing our presence in Krakow, Poland and looking for a Senior Software QA Engineer to join our team focused on shaping the future of Operations solutions at Autodesk. This senior role is focused at providing premium cloud platform experience in industrial software domain by applying sound quality assurance principles, test design and execution.
Responsibilities
Develop test strategies and methodologies for comprehensive test coverage and assessment of quality standards
Perform sanity checks and regression testing before production release
Collaborate with Product Owner and Software Developers to ensure acceptance criteria meet project goals and customer needs
Collaborate with Product Manager and team members to ensure that testing adequately validates customer experience
Implement quantitative and qualitative measures that validate the quality standards that were met and the ones exposed to quality risk(s)
Analyze test results to predict user behavior, identify bugs, and suggest solutions to minimize problems
Code and implement cloud app UI automated tests. Implement functional test cases that cover integration of components, APIs, and end-to-end workflows
Verify that the final product meets requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of experience in software development or quality assurance with proficiency in web frameworks
Proven experience in cloud app UI automated tests
Experience in one or more automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Selenium etc)
Knowledge of one or more programming languages e.g. JavaScript, Python etc.
Experience with test management and defect tracking systems such as JIRA, TestRail
Excellent troubleshooting skills on complex software issues
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum framework
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with industrial and manufacturing domain software (design, simulation, digital twin, operations), Smart Factory / Industry 4.0 solutions, facility operations, asset management, AEC etc
Familiarity with cloud technologies

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Poland based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $146,000 and $213,400. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.Belonging
