MUFG Securities is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Front Office Trading Platforms Support to join their dynamic team in Hong Kong. This role offers you the opportunity to be at the heart of trading operations, providing essential L1 and L2 production support for a range of sophisticated trading platforms, including electronic trading and market connectivity. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless day-to-day trading activities, supporting both Sales and Trader Workflows, and acting as a trusted contact for STP-related enquiries from internal stakeholders.

What you'll do:

As Assistant Vice President, Front Office Trading Platforms Support based in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for delivering reliable production support across a diverse suite of trading platforms. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating closely with Sales & Trading desks throughout Asia to ensure uninterrupted trade execution and accurate booking processes. You will monitor system alerts and respond swiftly to any issues that arise during trading hours. Acting as the primary contact for platform incidents means you will communicate clearly with users while liaising with global teams and vendors to resolve problems efficiently. You will also manage user access changes in partnership with HR and Access Management teams. Supporting platform upgrades or new product rollouts will require your attention to detail during testing phases. Compliance is key: you’ll help gather evidence for audits while keeping documentation up-to-date. Success in this role comes from your ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment—sharing knowledge generously—and maintaining operational resilience through continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Deliver comprehensive L1 and L2 production support for direct trading and execution platforms across Fixed Income, FX, and Structured Products, ensuring smooth operation during trading hours.

  • Assist front-office Sales & Trading desks in multiple Asian locations by maintaining trade execution continuity, booking accuracy, and STP workflows.

  • Monitor trade capture issues, booking breaks, rejects, and alerts on platforms such as Bloomberg TOMS and CMF errors, responding promptly to maintain operational efficiency.

  • Act as the first point of contact for platform incidents and user issues during trading hours, providing clear communication and dependable support.

  • Log, triage, and manage incidents using ServiceNow, coordinating with global FOS teams, vendors like Bloomberg or brokers, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely resolution.

  • Communicate effectively with users during incidents and follow up post-incident to ensure satisfaction and clarity.

  • Handle user onboarding/offboarding for DTP platforms by managing book access, user mapping, entitlement changes in close co-operation with Access Management, TEC, HR teams.

  • Support client and trader enablement on execution platforms such as ALLQ and TOMS books by facilitating broker connectivity.

  • Participate in platform changes including upgrades, cutovers, EOL activities; assist with testing, user validation, UAT connectivity testing, release coordination for DTP-related changes.

  • Ensure all activities comply with audit requirements by supporting evidence gathering for queries related to DTP platforms; maintain runbooks, procedures, and documentation.
