The Senior Sales Program Manager is responsible for managing strategic customer accounts, driving revenue growth, and delivering best-in-class service across both Future Metals and Orkal customers and product lines. This role serves as the primary point of contact for key accounts while identifying new business opportunities, managing long-term agreements, and ensuring seamless execution of the order lifecycle. The position requires strong relationship management, commercial acumen, and cross-functional collaboration to support customer satisfaction and business expansion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Management & Customer Relationships
- Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned key and strategic accounts
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Acquire deep understanding of customer needs, requirements, and objectives
- Manage contract negotiations, long-term agreements (LTAs), and pricing strategies
- Resolve customer issues proactively and maintain high levels of satisfaction
- Manage annual certification renewals to ensure ongoing compliance
Sales & Business Development
- Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and pursue new customers
- Forecast product demand and growth opportunities; monitor market and competitor trends
- Promote new products and value-added services across both business units
- Represent the company at customer visits, trade shows, and industry events (up to ~30% travel)
Order Management & Execution
- Oversee full order lifecycle: RFQs, quoting, order entry, delivery, and follow-up
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, including expediting and tracking
- Source non-stock (buyout) items to meet customer requirements
- Maintain and manage customer portals and internal systems
Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with purchasing, inventory, and operations teams to optimize inventory and forecasting
- Analyze purchasing and inventory trends to improve supply chain efficiency
- Act as a communication bridge between customers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate customer data, reporting, and account performance metrics
Reporting & Performance Management
- Prepare regular reports on account performance, forecasts, and key account metrics
- Track sales activity, customer engagement, and growth initiatives
- Continuously identify process improvements to enhance productivity and service quality
- Prepare and present Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR)
WORK EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of sales, account management, or sales support experience preferred
- Experience managing complex accounts and customer relationships

- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Analytical skills with ability to interpret data and trends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, & PowerPoint) and CRM/order systems
