This Position reports to:
Head of EngineeringIn this role, you will have the opportunity to manage or coordinate cybersecurity aspects in development projects and activities. Each day, you will support strategic cybersecurity direction and future technologies, designs, architecture, and implementations. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a primary contact in Research and Development, software development, and product engineering for cybersecurity-related matters.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Process Control Platform Division in Bangalore.
You will be mainly accountable for:
•Oversee Cyber Security initiatives for the DCS development stream, covering the product portfolio and projects.
•Work with Cyber Security engineers across different development streams to implement the Cyber Security roadmap.
•Assist product development and project teams in meeting Cyber Security directives and requirements.
•Define and clarify product and system requirements related to Cyber Security.
•Ensure projects adhere to Cyber Security practices, including security assessments, threat modeling, static code analysis, system validation, security assurance tests, and handling of third-party software.
Qualifications for the role:
•Senior Cyber Security professional with 8-12 years of hands-on technical expertise and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) or Technology (B.Tech).
•Security Development Lifecycle (SDL): In-depth knowledge of SDL for Control Systems, Network Security, and Industrial Automation Systems.
•Software Development: Hands-on experience in developing application/web software with encryption/decryption.
•Certificate Handling: Knowledge of certificate handling technologies and concepts.
•Architecture Development: Expertise in developing robust and secure architectures for products, risk assessment, and familiarity with product development processes (V-model and agile methodology).
•Relevant Technologies: Understanding of TCP/IP, OPC, Windows security concepts, cryptography, firewall technology, secure design, and development.
•Web Protocols: Good knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols and other web-related technologies.
•Security Tools and Standards: Familiarity with tools like threat modeling, static code analysis, and relevant security standards (e.g., IEC62443).
