About the team
Right now we’re on a journey to transform our in-house Talent Acquisition capabilities, and you’ll be joining and contributing at a critical point in our evolution. Your role will stretch you as we advise the business and stakeholders on talent strategies, truly living our values of Consumer First, Growing Myself and Others, Collaboration for Impact and Unlocking Value at Pace, you will be a trusted partner across the HR function and the business. About the role
As Head of TA, Greater China and HK you’ll have accountability for TA delivery within your operating unit. Provide leadership and guidance to TA Partners to attract, select, and hire high-quality talent that aligns with the organisation's goals and objectives, meeting current and future workforce requirements, fostering diversity and inclusion.
You’ll set the standard for delivery excellence, analyse recruitment data and metrics, providing valuable insights to senior leadership regarding recruitment performance, market trends, and areas for improvement. By staying updated on labour market conditions, emerging technologies, and industry trends, you’ll ensure the organisation remains competitive in attracting and acquiring top talent.
Key responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives, workforce plans, and diversity and inclusion goals.
Team Leadership and performance coaching: Lead and manage a team of TA Partners, providing guidance and coaching to ensure they meet their individual and team targets. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
Stakeholder management: Partner with senior leadership, hiring managers, and HR business partners to understand talent requirements, and resourcing needs. Build strong relationships and provide consultation on talent acquisition best practices.
Driving strategic sourcing and employer branding activities to attract the best in class talent for Haleon.
Recruitment Process Management: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management. Continuously improve recruitment processes and tools to enhance efficiency and candidate experience. Coaches team members on applying employer brand / storytelling to their work.
Compliance and Diversity: Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the talent acquisition process. Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives in recruitment practices.
Applies Agile TA methodology, providing the most value where it matters most, purposefully prioritising work based on criticality of the demand, and reflects on ways to improve the application of the methodology
Business acumen: Apply in depth knowledge of what makes our business successful and how TA supports our business performance
Curiosity, change & growth mindset: Take the lead to challenge the status quo and use data to identify where and how we focus our resources and leadership skills to impact change. Qualifications and skills
10Y+ years of full cycle in-house recruiting or Agency experience ideally in consumer goods or related industry.
5Y+ managing teams.
Advanced communication and written skills in English.
Ability to think strategically and execute recruitment strategies to achieve business goals.
Experience shaping employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives to strengthen talent market presence
Experience with recruitment technology, including applicant tracking systems, CRM and social media platforms.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting using recruitment metrics and tools.
Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends, labour market dynamics, and employment laws within the region or complex country.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
