ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce and acquire content.
- Extensive videography experience.
- Brainstorm and develop video concepts in cooperation with existing Champion Center technology.
- Plan, organize, and administratively oversee video production shoots.
- Edit content to conform to quality standards and time requirements
- Conduct on-camera interviews.
- Arrange field lighting.
- Manage and organize video production equipment to maintain an efficient, orderly production environment
- Ensures proper functioning of all equipment, providing basic troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
- Occasionally required to make editorial decisions.
- Plans and performs video post-production tasks.
- Obtains approval from all individuals involved in each project on drafts and final proofs.
- Remains abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services and leading industry performance benchmarks.
- Strictly adheres to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary manner.
- Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s Christian model and Mission – Training Champions for Christ.
- Work nights and weekends; travel as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- 5+ years in a related field.
- Demo reel of recent relevant work must be submitted to be interviewed for the position.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve is preferred.
To obtain LU-approved driver certification, individuals must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid driver’s license with a minimum of five (5) years of documented driving history, and maintain a clean driving record.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work Environment
The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is frequently changing. Functions of this position’s responsibility often require one to work after normal business hours and sometimes for long shifts. Some projects are completed in a climate-controlled office setting, and other projects on a regular basis are outdoors, in some situations, rain must be accommodated. Work from home may be encouraged or required at times.
Driving Requirements
Use of one’s personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) is required for travel in the performance of the essential functions of this position. Proof of a valid Virginia driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required
