The team collaborates closely with entrepreneurs, corporates, investors and public‑sector stakeholders across Europe and beyond.

What your role will look like

As a trainee, you will support the delivery of international programmes that help innovative SMEs and start‑ups grow, access new markets and attract investment. Your contribution matters in turning strategy into action by combining project coordination with clear, engaging communication.

  • Contribute to trade, economic development and innovation programmes supporting the acceleration and internationalisation of SMEs.

  • Support start‑ups and SMEs in improving their investment readiness and in connecting with investors and corporate partners.

  • Coordinate communication activities that showcase programme impact, including digital content, community updates and stakeholder materials.

  • Help build and animate communities of interest around sustainable innovation, low‑carbon technologies and the Blue Economy.

  • Support project management activities by tracking milestones, preparing documentation and ensuring smooth coordination across stakeholders.

  • Translate complex project content into clear, compelling storytelling for diverse audiences.

Your growth and opportunities

You will gain hands‑on exposure to international advisory projects at the intersection of innovation, sustainability and economic development. The role offers increasing responsibility, direct interaction with external stakeholders, and the opportunity to build a strong foundation in project management and communications within a fast‑paced advisory environment.

The skills you bring

  • Currently in a gap year or in the final year of a Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Economics, Public Policy, International Relations, Environmental or Sustainable Development studies).

  • Availability for a full‑time internship of at least six months.

  • Experience or strong interest in communications, social media, digital marketing, community management or graphic design.

  • Ability to structure information and communicate ideas clearly and engagingly.

  • English: fluent written and verbal communication (CEFR level: C1)

Ways of working

  • You analyse information with structure and logic, helping turn data and inputs into clear insights and actions.

  • You collaborate openly with others, contributing to a positive team dynamic and shared outcomes.

  • You show curiosity and a willingness to learn, quickly adapting to new topics, tools and ways of working.

  • You act with integrity, handle confidential information with care, and uphold high ethical standards in every situation.

Additional skills that would support your success

The skills listed reflect what matters most to succeed in this role. If your experience aligns with them, even if your path looks different, we encourage you to apply and start the conversation with us.

Take your next step
