This position reports to:

Regional ANA Business Controller - Asia

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive all financial activities within multiple small-scale projects or a single large project. Each day, you will act as a business partner to the Project Management team, supporting all financial and commercial matters. You will also showcase your expertise by actively driving the project’s performance.

The work model for the role is: hybrid, #LI-hybrid

This role is contributing to the project controller and order handling lead in Thailand and Philippines. Main stakeholders are Division Automation-Measurement & Analytics(AUMA)

You will be mainly accountable for:

Lead and provide commercial and financial input to project negotiations, risk reviews, and execution planning.
Manage project financials including invoicing, accounting, reporting, forecasts, and accuracy of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
Optimize project cash flow, revenue, and gross margin in close collaboration with the Project Director and Project Manager.
Oversee financial risks including currency exposure, bonds, guarantees, tax matters, and risk mitigation actions.
Assume joint responsibility for all project financial aspects, ensuring alignment with Project Controls, Planning, and Scheduling.
Support project reviews, cost reporting, claims, back-charges, insurance cases, and tender financial evaluations.
Ensure achievement of operational targets across inventory, order processing, warehouse, import/export, and logistics operations.
Support internal controls and internal/external audits while promoting strong commercial awareness within the project team.

Qualifications for the role

Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
From 5 years of experience in a controlling or similar financial reporting role
Ability to multitasking, with a proactive approach, good communication skills, and good collaborative mindset
Flexibility to adapt to tight group reporting calendar is required; used to work under pressure
Have a critical mindset improving processes and giving value added to the business
Experience in SAP; knowledge of SAP cloud solutions is a plus (S/4-Hana)
Advanced level in excel is important. Power BI, other AI tools knowledge
