Columbia Place Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our team. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the health, safety, and well-being of our residents by ensuring medications are administered accurately and on time while building meaningful relationships with the people we serve.

What You'll Do
- Safely administer and document medications according to physician orders and community policies
- Monitor residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and changes in condition
- Accurately obtain and document vital signs when required
- Communicate resident concerns and medication-related issues to nursing leadership and healthcare providers
- Assist residents with medication reminders and self-administration when appropriate
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
- Ensure medication carts, storage areas, and medication supplies are organized and compliant
- Work closely with caregivers, nurses, physicians, pharmacies, residents, and families
- Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life
- Participate in ongoing training, education, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, understand, and accurately document medical information
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, or healthcare preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the community during shifts
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to respond appropriately during emergency situations
