Job Responsibilities:

The SAP Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting and optimizing SAP logistics 
modules to ensure efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, and production support 
within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with 
supply chain, production, procurement, and IT teams to drive system improvements and 
operational excellence.


• Manage and support SAP logistics modules, including MM (Materials Management), WM/EWM (Warehouse Management), and PP (Production Planning)
• Ensure accurate material master data, BOMs, and inventory transactions within SAP 
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues impacting logistics, warehouse, and production operations 
• Support inbound/outbound logistics processes, including goods receipt, putaway, picking, and shipping 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system workflows and material flow efficiency
• Lead or support SAP enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy and transaction integrity
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for SAP logistics processes 
• Provide training and support to end users on SAP functionality 
• Analyze data and generate reports to support KPIs, planning, and decision-making

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, or related field
• 3–7+ years of experience in SAP logistics within a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred) 
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules: MM, WM/EWM, PP (SD is a plus)
• Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, and production support
• Proven ability to troubleshoot SAP issues and improve business processes 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills 
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in automotive or Tier 1 supplier environment
• Familiarity with JIT/JIS, lean manufacturing, and plant logistics
• SAP S/4HANA experience 
• Experience with system implementations or migrations
