We are looking for a smart and driven Japan Marketing Coordinator to support the growth targets for the region. With a strong and dedicated team, the Japan business has grown fast - we have exclusive and long term partnerships with leading Publishers and Advertisers across Japan.
The Japan Marketing Coordinator role is a full-time position, and sits within the APAC Marketing team. It requires the candidate to collaborate closely and work alongside the APAC Marketing Team and to further collaborate with the Japan business teams and other cross functional departments. The position aims to execute regional marketing projects to further drive business growth in the region, allowing you to drive your own journey with us long term.
We’re looking for a candidate with a can-do attitude that has excellent collaboration and written communication skills, and a drive to learn!
Responsibilities and skills:
- Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to execute projects within the Japan Marketing strategy and plan. Work closely with multiple stakeholders from Sales, Account Management and Marketing to understand business goals and execute on marketing objectives in a timely manner.
- Create and deliver gifting initiatives to build customer loyalty, by managing supplier relationships and procurement processes for gifts and corporate merchandise, liaising with the Design team and aligning reliably with the Geo Marketing team APAC team to ensure the availability of promotional items across the region
- Localize global Marketing materials to enhance Sales conversations and cycles, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and linguistic appropriateness for the Japanese market. This includes adapting messaging, visuals, and calls to action.
- Grow understanding of Content Marketing processes for blog and social channels, and create meaningful campaigns in collaboration with the content team to create case studies and examples that solidify Taboola’s impact and positioning in the Japanese Market
- Develop and localize press releases in alignment with global announcements, ensuring relevance for the Japanese market. Work closely with the local PR agency to ensure timeline translation and distribution of the PR announcements. Organise research to gauge brand reach and lift through research agencies.
- Contribute to creating an impactful presence at industry events by managing sourcing, logistics, and collateral alignment for both mid-sized and major events to raise awareness and generate demand.
- Co-create and support hosted events for customer education and retention activities in Japan by managing sourcing, logistics, stakeholder and collateral alignment.
- Develop a deep understanding of Taboola’s product positioning, core advantage and unique offering.
- Gain strategic insights into marketing activities and their business impact by supporting data and reports analysis using various platforms and tools, like Salesforce and QlikSense.
