Permit & Berth ManagerJob Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced Permit and Berth Manager to oversee permit, license and berth booking operations across the NSW portfolio.Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Operations, this role is responsible for ensuring permit and berth activities are delivered safely, compliantly and efficiently across public domain, waterfront and marine assets. Working closely with Events, Facilities Management, Helpdesk and HSE teams, you will support operational access, customer experience and precinct safety across high-profile public environments.
The role also includes leadership responsibility for Permit Coordinators supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage permit, license and berth booking operations across the portfolio
Lead and support Permit Coordinators and day-to-day team activities
Coordinate access to marine, wharf and public-domain assets
Ensure compliance with operational, statutory and marine safety requirements
Manage stakeholder communications, operational risks and escalations
Maintain accurate reporting, records and audit-ready documentation
Support continuous improvement across permit and berth operations
About You
Experience in permit management, marine operations or precinct operations
Strong understanding of compliance, access control and operational risk management
Strong organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience in waterfront, public-facing or complex operational environments desirable
Relevant qualification in Operations, Maritime, Property, Facilities or similar desirable
