About the Role

We are looking for Safety Administrator to join our Safety team on our project in Richmond, VA. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process expenses and invoices to ensure timely vendor Payments.
  • Coordinate Safety Team meetings, including booking rooms, arranging travel, and preparing meeting notes.
  • Work in conjunction with project teams and the Safety Department to complete safety-related projects as needed, including OSHA coordination, new project setup, ZAC meetings, and the Approved Drivers program.
  • Support and assist with the companywide safety program.
  • Provide in-person administrative and operational support for the Safety Management team.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2–5+ years of experience in safety administration or a related field.
  • Strong Excel, Word, email, and other relevant computer skills.
  • Strong work ethic with a high level of attention to detail and organization.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work professionally and dependably.
  • Professionalism, including maintaining high standards of integrity and ethical behavior.
  • Reliability and the ability to consistently deliver on commitments.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative work.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability and the ability to adjust to changing priorities and handle unexpected challenges.
  • Diplomacy and the ability to handle sensitive matters with tact.
  • Initiative and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Construction industry knowledge or experience.
