About the Role

We’re looking for an APAC BDR Manager to lead and develop our regional Business Development team. This role is heavily centered on training, enablement, coaching, and building a high-performing outbound organisation across the Asia-Pacific region. You will elevate BDR talent through structured coaching, consistent skill development, and operational excellence.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Sydney, Australia office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and coach a regional team of BDRs across APAC.
  • Build and deliver ongoing enablement programs, including onboarding, objection handling, outbound frameworks, and workflow mastery.
  • Run and coach world-class discovery practices, including qualification frameworks, questioning techniques, and multi-threading fundamentals.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, call reviews, role plays, and performance reviews to drive consistent improvement.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Global Enablement to refine regional outbound strategy and messaging.
  • Build scalable playbooks and prospecting sequences tailored to APAC markets.
  • Recruit, onboard, and grow top BDR talent.
  • Drive pipeline creation targets through strong leadership, motivation, and coaching cadence.
  • Champion the adoption of new tools, technologies, and data-driven techniques to elevate BDR efficiency and performance.
  • As part of our commitment to setting new hires up for success, all new sales team members attend a one-week, in-person Revenue Bootcamp during their second week at Fivetran. This bootcamp, held at one of our designated company locations, requires travel and is a mandatory part of the onboarding process.

Skills We’re Looking For

  • 2-4 years managing BDR/SDR teams (SaaS/B2B tech preferred).
  • Strong passion for coaching early-career sellers, especially in discovery, outbound strategy, and objection handling.
