Production Shop Floor Support for Digital, Hardware, Software, Infrastructure and users.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Own IT operations for the manufacturing site, focusing on shop floor systems and applications
- Ensure performance, reliability, and availability of site IT infrastructure and applications
- Serve as the Site IT lead and member of the shop leadership team
- Implement the site IT/digital roadmap and drive continuous improvement
- Partner with business leaders to understand IT needs and influence technology decisions
- Manage Digital Workplace technologies (end-user devices, collaboration tools, etc.)
- Deploy, manage, and support shop floor PCs and related hardware
- Support printers, MFPs, on-site A/V, and telecommunications equipment
- Provide on-site support for networking infrastructure
- Coordinate infrastructure work and upgrades with central IT/DT teams
- Participate in lean, cost-saving, and technology refresh/obsolescence projects
- Respond quickly to cybersecurity threats and support security best practices
- Escalate IT/DT issues impacting production and provide on-call support as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 2 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 7 years of professional experience
- Minimum 2 years of IT support or infrastructure experience (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred)
- Experience supporting PCs, printers, and basic network infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work across departments and teams
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies and drive change
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
